Jeff came to the financial services industry in 2005 with a strong desire to help clients intelligently build and protect their hard-earned assets. Recognizing that wealth was not just about having money but about freedom – specifically the freedom to provide for oneself, loved ones and perhaps providing for the greater societal good. From these convictions he understood the only logical path to helping clients realize their financial future, was through building a practice anchored in the principles of financial planning and only acting in a fiduciary capacity.
Jeff discovered that the process-oriented and analytical skills developed during his prior career in the supply chain software space seamlessly translated to his role as a financial planner. Specializing in financial planning enabled him to leverage his natural curiosity about his clients’ lives and he was especially interested in simplifying complex financial concepts into straightforward and executable plans. Integral to this process is educating clients, and often their children, about the best practices they can employ as they map out their financial future.
Jeff began his financial services career with UBS in 2005 and spent the majority of his time working for Morgan Stanley, Ameriprise and Citizens Investments servicing high net worth clients through financial planning and partnering with institutional portfolio managers to implement “best-in-breed” solutions. Jeff believes that the essence of an effective and fulfilling practice is quite simply about nurturing a genuine relationship with his clients, always putting their interests first and treating them like family.
Every client has a story to tell and Jeff welcomes the opportunity to learn about the way in which the dynamics of money have impacted his client’s well-being. By generating well over 100 financial plans Jeff has become well-versed in understanding his client’s goals and the driving forces underneath those aspirations. He helps his clients achieve and adjust their financial objectives as life changes in unanticipated ways. Ongoing “course-correction” is integral to the planning process and to remaining on track to achieving one’s life goals.
Jeff lives for his family with his wife and two daughters. He loves music, playing with several local bands in the greater Boston area, and is an ardent supporter of the arts. Being outdoors is crucial for him: skiing, sailing, photography and hiking help him get there.
Jeff has his Series 7, 31, 65 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
