Alexandra Young (Alex)

Alexandra (Alex) Young is a highly experienced techno-economic analyst and technical program manager at Twelve, with a career spanning various roles in engineering and research. Since joining Twelve in November 2021, Alex has managed significant projects related to plant design and cost modeling, defined cost reduction strategies, and led efforts to foster diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Prior to Twelve, Alex held engineering positions at Antora Energy and contributed to research projects at Stanford University. Alex's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University. A strong advocate for LGBTQ+ issues, Alex has been prominent in establishing employee support groups and facilitating company-wide discussions.
