Steven McCauley

Head Of Quality Assurance at Twenty7tec

Steven McCauley is currently working as the Head of Quality Assurance at Twenty7Tec Group since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications and overall improvement of quality across the company. Steven provides leadership and guidance to the QA team.

Prior to their current role, Steven worked at AXA Insurance. From September 2018 to April 2022, they served as the Engineering Architect - QA, where they were responsible for improving the quality of software products developed on AXA Insurance platforms. Steven provided strategic direction on the adoption of new Quality Assurance practices across all platforms. From June 2016 to August 2018, they worked as the Test Manager, overseeing all aspects of test activities for an allocated portfolio. From October 2014 to June 2016, they held the role of Test Team Leader, managing the testing of major delivered projects.

Before AXA, Steven worked at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) from January 2004 to October 2014 as the Lead Test Analyst.

Steven McCauley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership Management and Organisation from Teesside University. Steven has also obtained additional certifications in Agile Project Management Practitioner from APMG-International in January 2015, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2014, and Prince2 from APMG-International in 2014.
