John Grosskopf

John Grosskopf has over 23 years of work experience, starting as a KC-130 Electrician in the US Marine Corps. John then worked for DynCorp International, L-3 Communications Vertex Aerospace LLC, and Leidos as an Avionics/Mission Equipment Technician, ISR Avionics/Mission System Lead, Information Technology Engineer, and Information System Security Manager, respectively. John joined Twenty8 Technology, LLC in 2021 as a System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) for DARPA IT Operations, their current role. Throughout their career, they have held supervisory positions such as Collateral Duty Inspection/Shift Supervisor while with the US Marine Corps.

John Grosskopf started their education in 2004 at Hopkinsville Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Science in Network and System Administration/Administrator in 2005. Later in 2013, they enrolled at American Military University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Information System Security. John completed their Master of Business Administration with a focus on Information Security from James Madison University in 2021.

John Grosskopf also obtained several certifications that include VMware Certified Professional, General Radiotelephone Operator, Project Management Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops, Cisco Certified Network Associate Security, Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching, and CompTIA Security+.
