Hammons, Winegardner and Hammons, Bristol Hotels & Resorts, THG / Northwest x Southern Hospitality and smaller independent owners like Associated Hotels in Chicago. He has shown sustained success in major markets, including Dallas, St. Louis, Cleveland, the state of Alaska, as well as 3rd tier cities like Beaumont, Texas, and South Bend, Indiana. My experience in the brands transcends across Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt, Motel 6, and Choice.
He has facilitated large and small Renovations, PIP’s, Refinances, and Openings. The largest Renovation / Rebranding and Repositioning included a 380 room Holiday Inn Select in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, $17.5 million, and a $14.5 million, 295 room Marriott in Downtown South Bend, Indiana; both converted to DoubleTree by Hilton. A recent rebranding of a Holiday Inn Express to a Hyatt Place, a $3 million conversion, and a Move to Modern completion of a 100 room Comfort Inn, Alaska. He has had the experience of opening both a Hyatt House and a Courtyard by Marriott. He also has extensive Food and Beverage experience with over 20,000 square feet of meeting space in several hotels.
Leonard had a tenured career with The Hotel Group for more than ten years. As Director of Operations for The Hotel Group, He was responsible for 8 Alaska area hotels. After, He became the Regional Vice President for the newly formed Northwest x Southern Hospitality, managing over $100 million in annual revenues.
