Alberto Borobio León

Alberto Borobio León has a long and varied career in the financial services industry. Alberto began their career in 1998 as Chief Financial Manager at Caja Rural de Soria. In 2006, they worked as Manager at Aptivo Consulting and Senior Finance Manager at Bank of America's Madrid Branch. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Lecturer at ESCA and IEB and CFO of Banco Pichincha España, S.A. During this time, they were responsible for the go-live of the Spain Branch and the development and presentation of the Financial Plan to the Central Bank. In 2011, they became CFO of Banco do Brasil AG, Spain Branch, where they were involved in monetary policy operations, capital increase, liquidity policies and financial risk management. Alberto is currently Business Controller at Twinco Capital.

Alberto Borobio León obtained their Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad de Salamanca in 1996. From 2000 to 2002, they completed a Master in Management of Credit Institutions from UNED in the field of Finance Entities of Credit. In 2003 and 2004, they obtained an Especialist in IFRS applications from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in Accounting. Lastly, from 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Finance from Comercial de Deusto.
