John Tsampalis

John Tsampalis is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in technology, commerce, and education. Currently serving as CEO at Twine since April 2023, John is focused on advancing the next generation of commerce orchestration platforms. Additionally, John holds an adjunct professor position at Iona University and previously served as VP of New Commerce & Retail at Mastercard, overseeing various aspects of retail technology and payments. As CEO and Co-Founder of DogStar Life, John launched a groundbreaking wearable IoT product. John's earlier roles include key positions at Verizon Wireless, where significant advancements in IoT and device strategy were achieved, and Motorola, where product development leadership was demonstrated. John has received notable awards, including the Maker’s Faire 2015 Editor’s Choice Award and the Cornell Tech Startup Award. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and National Technical University of Athens.
