Carlos Gutierrez

Carlos Gutierrez is a Vector Product Line Specialist at Twist Bioscience, with a career spanning several roles in the biotechnology sector since 2012. At Twist Bioscience, Carlos has been integral to the Next Generation Sequencing Target Enrichment team, focusing on high throughput synthesis of synthetic DNA oligos and primers. Previously, Carlos worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Operator II in the Custom Primers Lab and held a contract as a Manufacturing Technician through Kelly Services, both roles centered on the manufacturing of custom oligonucleotides. Carlos began a strong academic foundation at Los Medanos College, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Carlos has experience in academic tutoring, providing support in mathematics and science subjects at the college level.
