Lisa's first memories of Wailea predate any of the resorts that line the golden sand beaches that define Maui's popular resort area. People would follow the stream down between the kiawe trees and fish all day off the beach." Years later, Lisa still finds herself following that same path along the stream, where cascading waterfalls now pay homage to the land's historical feature. Lisa's favorite moment of each guest's stay is that first moment when they walk into the lobby and they realize that they can finally let go.
