Ted Zhu is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Vice President and Engineering Manager at Two Sigma since May 2017, focusing on Simulation and Scoring Frameworks. Prior to this role, Ted Zhu worked as a Software Engineer at YouTube from August 2014 to May 2017, where significant contributions included the creation of Cobalt. Earlier experiences include software engineering internships at YouTube and Google, where projects involved developing build systems and optimizing search infrastructure. Ted Zhu also held technical and research internships at NetEase Interactive Entertainment Limited, DigiMobiStudio, and Peking University’s CNDS Lab, gaining expertise in game engine technology, image search methods, and augmented reality. Ted Zhu holds a Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Peking University.
