Laura Laukka

Laura Laukka has extensive work experience in the field of UI/UX and service design. Laura is currently working at twoday Finland as a UI/UX & Service Designer since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Solidabis Oy in the same role from November 2021 to January 2023.

Before transitioning into design, Laura worked at the Legal Register Centre as a Usability Expert from June 2017 to November 2021. In this role, they worked on various IT projects and initiatives within the legal administration, focusing on developing operational systems for agency users and electronic service portals for citizens. Laura'sresponsibilities included service design, usability testing and evaluation, organizing workshops, and developing a shared service design model for the organization.

In 2018, Laura also worked as an Election Worker at Hämeen vaalipiirilautakunta for a year.

Laura's early work experience includes customer service roles at Wasaline from June 2013 to May 2017. Here, they worked in various customer service positions in the ship's restaurants, bars, and retail store. Laura was proficient in Finnish, Swedish, and English.

Laura Laukka completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Technical Communication from the University of Vaasa between 2012 and 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree Programme in Service Design at Laurea University of Applied Sciences from 2020 to 2022.
