Simo Rontti

Simo Rontti has a diverse work experience in various companies. Simo is currently working as a Senior UX Designer at twoday Finland since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Deveron as a Senior Service & UX Designer from June 2012. Simo also had an entrepreneurial role during this time. From June 2018 to April 2023, Simo worked as a Senior Service Designer at Kaleva Media. Before that, they worked at the University of Lapland as a Project Manager in Service Design from March 2009 to June 2018. In this role, they led and developed the Service Design & UX prototyping lab SINCO. Simo's early work experience includes working as an Industrial Designer and Concept Project Manager at Lappset Group Oy from March 2002 to February 2009.

Simo Rontti pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1999, they enrolled at Tampere University of Technology and undertook two years of studies, including subjects such as software engineering, usability, and information & knowledge management. However, they did not complete their M.Sc degree at the institution.

Later, from 2001 to 2006, Simo attended the University of Lapland. During this time, they attained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree with a specialization in Industrial Design, specifically focusing on user-centered design methods.

In 2009, Simo returned to the University of Lapland to acquire further knowledge and completed Teacher's Pedagogical Studies. The field of study for this particular degree is not specified.
