Anna Carey

Anna Carey has worked in the software engineering industry for over 16 years. Anna began their career in 2004 as a Web Production Specialist at Walker Information. In 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at LAT and a Systems Engineer at NCAA. Anna then moved to NextGear Capital in 2013 as a Developer. In 2014, they joined MOBI Wireless Management as a Senior Developer and Team Lead. In 2018, Anna joined Ad Hoc LLC as a Staff Software Engineer, where they designed, implemented and documented APIs that enabled veteran benefits apps to use VA.gov. Anna also performed SRE tasks with VA.gov, including monitoring, alerting and incident management. Currently, Anna is a Lead Software Engineer at Table XI since 2022.

Anna Carey attended Grinnell College from 1999 to 2003 and obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science. During their time at Grinnell College, they also spent a semester at The University of Queensland in 2001.
