Richard Watts

Richard Watts has extensive work experience in the rail industry. Richard currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at TXM Plant since 2019. Previously, they served as Project Director at HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd from 2015 to 2019, where they were responsible for the delivery of track and power systems for the HS2 programme. Prior to that, they worked at Colas Rail UK as Operations Director, Operations Manager, and Plant Operations Manager from 2011 to 2015. Richard also held the role of National Planning & Resources Manager at Colas Rail from 2010 to 2011. Richard began their career at Network Rail, where they served as a Scheme Project Manager and Graduate Manager from 2007 to 2010.

Richard Watts attended Aberystwyth University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Richard'sfield of study during this time was law.
