Alan Fohrer

Alan Fohrer has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Alan started as a Director at Edison Electric Institute in 2002 and also served as the Chairman and CEO of Southern California Edison at Edison International, where they played a crucial role in recovering from the California energy crisis and led successful rate cases with the California Public Utilities Commission. Alan has also held directorial positions at Trans Alta, PNM Resources, Blue Shield of California, Synagro, MWH Global, Osmose, Schneider Electric, and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.

Alan Fohrer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California, where they attended from 1969 to 1973. Alan then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering at the same university, completing their studies between 1973 and 1976. Alan further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from California State University, Los Angeles, from 1977 to 1981.
