Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, having worked at Tyco Safety Products since 2005 in various managerial roles. As the ITS Projects BU Manager since 2009, Andrew oversees all aspects of Tyco's ITS projects business in Australia, focusing on marketing, strategic planning, and maintaining engineering standards. Previously, as Projects Manager, Andrew managed the design and execution of ITS projects, encompassing both technical and non-technical responsibilities. Earlier in Andrew's career, significant contributions were made as a Development Engineer at Plessey, where software development for air-traffic RADAR and microwave instruments was undertaken. Andrew holds a Graduate Diploma in Engineering and a BSc in Electronics from the University of Cape Town.
