Joanne Lynskey (née Powell) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joanne is currently employed at Tyl by NatWest as a Customer Experience Manager since April 2023. Previously, they worked at Virgin Media O2 as a Customer Experience & Journey Manager from August 2020 to January 2023, where they focused on designing and mapping customer journeys and incorporating the voice of the customer into strategic decision-making. Prior to that, they worked at O2 (Telefónica UK) from June 2014 to August 2020 in various roles, including Consumer Launch Manager, Business Analyst, Junior Business Systems Analyst, and as an Advanced Apprentice. Joanne also gained early work experience at Matalan as a General Sales Assistant from June 2010 to September 2012.

Joanne Lynskey (née Powell) began their education at The Westgate School in Slough from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Following their secondary education, Joanne attended East Berkshire College in Windsor from 2010 to 2012. There, they pursued A-Levels and their coursework included Biology, Psychology, and Maths.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Joanne has obtained various certifications. In 2013, they achieved the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN. Joanne further expanded their skillset through certifications from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, including the Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis in 2015, the BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice in 2015, the BCS Certificate in Modelling Business Processes in 2016, the BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering in 2017, and the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis in 2017. Joanne also holds the BTEC Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles and the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals from Edexcel, obtained in 2014. Their most recent certification, acquired in 2018, is the PRINCE2 Practitioner. Additionally, Joanne received MSP® Certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019.
