Robiul Islam has had a progressive career in the banking industry. Robiul began their career as a Customer Advisor at NatWest in 2008, where they excelled in building relationships with customers and identifying suitable products to meet their needs. In 2013, they joined Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Business Manager, where they managed a portfolio of business accounts and provided high-level customer service to small medium enterprises. Robiul'sresponsibilities included understanding and helping customers with their business and financial needs. In 2019, Robiul moved to Tyl by NatWest as a Sales Manager, working in a new merchant acquiring proposition. Robiul demonstrated expertise in providing specialist banking payment solutions to new and existing SME customers. Recently, in 2022, they were promoted to Middle Office Manager at Tyl by NatWest, where they oversee commercial and private banking innovation.
Robiul Islam completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Drug Dosage Form and Design from Aston University during the period of 2006-2007. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmaceutical Management from the University of Bradford, focusing on Life Sciences. In 2011, they obtained an IT NVQ Level 2 Diploma from Dudley College. Additionally, Robiul Islam obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Prince2 Foundation from PeopleCert in December 2018, the Certificate In Business Banking Practice from The Chartered Banker Institute in June 2015, and the Certificate In Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) from The London Institute of Banking & Finance in December 2011.
