David Paton

David Paton is a Graduate Ecologist at Tyler Grange since March 2021, specializing in ecological surveys and reporting for various development projects. Previously, David served as a Seasonal Ecologist at Tyler Grange, gaining experience in ecological surveys such as Great Crested Newt and Bat surveys. A former Bat Surveyor at ECOSA, David performed emergence and re-entry surveys to identify bat roosting sites. Earlier roles include a gardener at Preston House Gardening and a professional placement at Axion Polymers, where David worked on projects related to recycling and material analysis. David holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Bangor University, complemented by a strong academic background in science and mathematics.
