Michael Hale has extensive experience in academia and freelance writing. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington since September 2015, Michael teaches ENGL-1301 while pursuing a PhD in English. Additionally, Michael has contributed as a Freelance Writer for various outlets, including Comicosity, Tyler Morning Telegraph, and Bscene Magazine. Michael held significant responsibilities as the P3 Conference Director at the University of Texas at Tyler, overseeing the planning and execution of the Pixels, Panels, and Prose conference from 2010 to 2013. Educational qualifications include a PhD from The University of Texas at Arlington, an MA in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Tyler, and a BA in the same field from the same institution. Michael served in leadership roles within the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society and founded the University of Texas at Tyler Game Society.
