Coenraad Jonker

Coenraad (Coen) Jonker is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in digital banking and financial services. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Non-Executive Director of TymeBank since January 2019, Coen is also the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Tyme, a multi-country digital banking group focused on emerging markets in Asia and Africa. Previous roles include Group Executive of International Financial Services at Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities included enhancing access to financial services through digital innovation, as well as leading digital banking strategies for emerging markets. Coen co-founded Tyme in 2012 and has held senior positions at Deloitte South Africa, Standard Bank South Africa, and Edward Nathan. Coen holds an MBA (cum laude) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Freestate.
