Coenraad Jonker

Coenraad (Coen) Jonker serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Tyme, and holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at TymeBank in South Africa while also serving as a Non-Executive Director. Coen has extensive experience in the financial services sector, having previously been the Group Executive of International Financial Services at Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities included overseeing offshore retail banking and regional digital banking operations. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Tyme, Deloitte South Africa, Standard Bank South Africa, and Edward Nathan, with a focus on financial inclusion and innovative banking solutions for underserved markets. Coen holds an MBA (cum laude) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Freestate.
