Rowan Williams

Rowan Williams is a highly experienced professional in the field of audio engineering and acoustics, currently serving as the System Acoustic Engineering Team Leader for earphones at Tymphany since July 2018. Prior to this role, Rowan held several key positions at Gibson Innovations, including Acoustic Program Lead and Senior Architect for Sound & Acoustics, where efforts centered on active headphone design and technology roadmaps. Additional experience includes roles as an Architect and Innovation Engineer focused on product development and electroacoustic simulation at both Gibson Innovations and Philips. Rowan's career began as an Electro-acoustic Engineer at D&M Premium Sound Solutions, specializing in audio system design for automotive applications, followed by an academic foundation with a BSc (Hons) in Acoustics from the University of Salford. Early professional experience also includes a trainee engineer position at Bang & Olufsen, reinforcing expertise in loudspeakers.
