Dave Challenger Msc

Dave Challenger MSc, PGCE, BSc is an experienced sports educator and professional with a strong background in teaching, coaching, and sports development. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Sport and TLA Lead for Sport at Tyne Metropolitan College since August 2019, Dave also owns DGC Strength, Conditioning and Fitness, providing personal training and nutritional guidance. Dave acts as an Advisor for UK Anti-Doping, educating athletes and coaches on integrity in sports. Additionally, Dave holds significant roles, including Director of Rugby and Chair of Representative Rugby for Northumberland Rugby Football Union, where responsibilities encompass rugby development, managing budgets, and leading county representative squads. With prior experience at Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers, along with a solid educational foundation in Strength and Conditioning and Sports and Exercise Science, Dave is committed to promoting excellence in sports and education.
