George Karvounis

George Karvounis has over 16 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. George is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at tyntec since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Nokia Networks for 10 years, starting as a Software Engineer in July 2008 and later becoming a Senior R&D Software Engineer in August 2014. Before joining Nokia Networks, they worked as a Software Engineer at ANADELTA SOFTWARE from June 2004 to July 2008. In addition to their industry experience, they also worked as a Researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from July 2005 to February 2007.

George Karvounis holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Hellenic Open University, which they completed from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronic Automation from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from 2003 to 2005. George obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the same university, where they studied from 1994 to 2001.
