Joseph Fitzgerald is a Global Connectivity Expert with over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry. Joseph Fitzgerald began their career in 1998 as a United States Marine. In 2005, they took on the role of Integrated Maintenance Management Systems Engineer at URS Corporation, An AECOM Company. In 2006, they joined eBay as a Network Infrastructure Engineer and later became the Sr Manager GCS Sourcing & Service Delivery. In 2016, they founded Type2Telecom, a facilities based, international licensed carrier, where they currently serve as CEO. At Type2Telecom, they provide consortium based telecom services and a marketplace for buyers to purchase network solutions. Joseph Fitzgerald's goal is to provide the power and possibilities for customers to create custom end-to-end solutions that fit their unique needs.

Joseph Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute, which they completed in 2005. Joseph Fitzgerald also holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Business Technology from Mesa College, San Diego, which they completed in 2002.
