Chief Information Security Officer, VP Of Security at Typeface

Mohit Kalra has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Mohit is currently serving as the VP of Security at Typeface, a position they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Bearer as a Security Advisor starting in March 2023.

From 2011 to 2023, Mohit held various roles at Sprinklr, including Vice President of Product Security. In this role, they led a team responsible for securing the product from application to infrastructure. Their team managed security activities such as architecture reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability disclosure program. They ensured that security was integrated into the products from the beginning.

Before Sprinklr, Mohit worked at Adobe for nearly two decades in various positions. Mohit served as the Director of Cloud Security, where they led a team conducting security reviews of Adobe's operational environments and implementing security monitoring for product teams. Mohit also held roles as a Senior Manager in Secure Software Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, contributing to various projects and leading teams.

Prior to Adobe, Mohit started their career at IBM Software Labs as a Software Engineer. Mohit worked on Lotus products and gained experience in development and debugging on different platforms and languages.

In addition to their professional experience, Mohit is also a member of The Purple Book Community since April 2022.

Mohit Kalra attended Jadavpur University in Kolkata from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Mohit has also earned various certifications. In June 2019, they completed the "Machine Learning" course offered by Stanford University on Coursera and received a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, in June 2015, they obtained a certificate for the "Introduction to Financial Accounting" course by the University of Pennsylvania on Coursera, a certificate for the "Introduction to Marketing" course by the University of Pennsylvania on Coursera, and completed the "Startup Engineering" program offered by Coursera in September 2013.
