Thomas Bernard

Thomas Bernard is a highly experienced engineering and technology leader with extensive expertise in both educational and corporate sectors. As Co-Founder of QuestFriendz, Thomas focuses on fostering interest in STEAM fields through engaging children's literature. In the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Typeform, Thomas manages product development and engineering teams across global units, overseeing over 60 professionals. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at ActiveVideo, where Thomas contributed to innovative cloud television solutions for major clients, and as Senior Software Engineer/Project Manager at ACE, where responsibilities included bridging technology and business in R&D. With a strong academic background, Thomas holds a PhD in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, along with master's and bachelor’s degrees from CY Tech and CY Cergy Paris Université.
