Ognjen Gagrica

Ognjen Gagrica has several years of diverse work experience. Ognjen started their career in 2003 as an Editor/Admin at Stepanoff Inc, where they worked until 2009. In 2010, they joined Greener Gateway Limited as a Representative and stayed with the company until 2011. Ognjen then worked as a Consultant at Denkstatt GmbH from June 2011 to January 2012, where they assisted with various environmental projects. From February 2011 to August 2012, they served as a Software Product Manager at Carbonmetrics Ltd. In 2012, they joined AGH University of Science and Technology as a PHD Researcher, focusing on grid integration of renewables and energy management automation. Ognjen continued their research work until 2016. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Visiting PhD Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology. In 2015, they joined Enetech Inc as a Project Engineer, specializing in R&D for monitoring and control hub for micro-inverters. Since 2016, they have been working at Typhoon HIL, Inc., starting as a Test Automation Engineer and progressing to the role of Application Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Application Engineer at the company.

Ognjen Gagrica has a diverse education history. In 2004, they completed their Master's degree in Environmental Engineering at Univerzitet u Novom Sadu. Following this, in 2011, they obtained a Certificate in Cleaner Production from Denkstatt GmbH ECOprofit Novi Sad. In 2012, Ognjen began pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree simultaneously at two institutions. Ognjen attended Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in Electrical Engineering - Power Systems. At the same time, they also pursued a PhD in Automation Engineering at AGH University of Krakow. Ognjen completed both of these programs in 2016.
