Fernando Blanco

Fernando F. Blanco, PhD, currently serves as Sr. Director, Clinical and Translational Scientist at Tyra Biosciences since August 2022. Prior to this role, Fernando held several positions in US Medical Affairs related to oncology at Incyte, where responsibilities included leading medical strategy and providing oversight for cross-functional teams. Previous experience includes roles at Shire as Sr. Scientific Liaison for Hematology and Medical Oncology, as well as positions in oncology molecular diagnostics at Cardiff Oncology and CompanionDx Reference Lab. Fernando earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of South Carolina and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Clinical Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics and Cancer Biology.
