Tonya Blizzard

Tonya Blizzard is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. As the Associate Director of Accounting at Tyra Biosciences since February 2023, Tonya has previously held various roles, including Accounting Consultant, Associate Director of Finance, and Senior Manager of Accounting at Otonomy, Inc. from October 2014 to January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Accounting Manager at Trius Therapeutics and Senior Accountant at La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company. Tonya began their career at EY as an Audit Senior/Staff and served in the US Navy, receiving an Honorable Discharge and a Good Conduct Medal. Tonya holds a degree from San Diego State University, attained between 1999 and 2002.
