Steven Thompson

Steven Thompson has a long and varied work experience. Steven began their career in 2005 as a Computer and Communications Service Department Help Desk Technician at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In 2007, they worked as an IT Summer Intern at Abbott, where they tested software which allows pharmaceutical sales representatives to allow their physician call lists. Steven worked in the same role the following year, where they tested applications for a company-wide upgrade to a new version of Microsoft Windows. In 2008, they worked as a Parking Valet at Aurora Health Care. In 2009, they worked as an Enumerator at the US Census Bureau, where they followed stringent guidelines and confidentiality laws. In 2010, they worked as an Operations Intern at FedEx SmartPost, where they overhauled the network Hub Productivity Standards using Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST). In 2012, they worked as a Quality Assurance Intern at Charter Wire, where they made significant contributions towards preparing Quality Assurance Laboratory for ISO 17025 certification. In 2013, they began working at TZA, where they held various roles, including Senior Software Implementation Manager, Software Implementation Manager, Senior Software Implementation Engineer, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. In each of these roles, they managed cross-functional teams in implementations of a Tier-1 Labor Management Software, designed, built, and validated engineered interfaces to support dynamic standards, lead integration design meetings, facilitated meetings with client IT and Operations to define available data points by process, and identified any business rules which need to be applied to support engineered standards. Steven also built out middle ware / ETL code to transform customer's data and developed SOPs and identified best practices.

Steven Thompson received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Carmel Catholic High School.
