Jari Jekkonen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jari started their career at Pohjolan Euroilma Oy as a project manager, overseeing HVAC projects and automation installations and maintenance. Jari then moved on to NOKIA, where they held various positions, including senior designer, senior specialist in EMC simulations and design, and manager of TE Networks. Jari later worked at IT'IS Foundation as a project leader specializing in EMC/EMI, EMC simulations, SAR simulations, and EMC consultation. Jekkonen also served as a member of the board at Nemcel Ltd. Currently, they are with u-blox, where they have held multiple positions, including quality engineer, manager of Module Quality & Reliability Engineering and Reliability Laboratory, senior manager of the same department, and currently, as the director of Module Quality & Reliability Engineering and Reliability Laboratory.
Jari Jekkonen has a strong educational background. Jari obtained a PhD in Electronics from the University of York between 1999 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Telecommunications at the University of Leeds from 1995 to 1997. In 1987, Jari completed their Engineer degree in Information Technology at Kuopion Tekninen Oppilaitos. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Python for Data Science Essential Training Part 1 from LinkedIn in 2022.
