Mary Hightower

Mary Hightower currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer and Director of Communication Services at the U of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. Mary has extensive experience in creating and executing communications strategies, offering counsel to clients and groups, media relations, strategic writing, and collateral creation. Prior to their current role, Mary held positions as Assistant Director of Extension Communications at the same university and Vice President at Tilson Communications. Mary also has a background in broadcast editing and wire editing. Mary holds a BA in History from UCL, a MA in Journalism from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and another BA in History from Boston College.
