Courtney Schneider

Senior Climate Analyst at U.S. Climate Alliance

Courtney Schneider currently serves as a Senior Climate Analyst at the U.S. Climate Alliance since December 2023. With a strong focus on renewable energy and environmental policy, Courtney has also been a Research Mentor at Polygence since February 2022 and worked as an Independent Contractor for the Environmental Defense Fund during 2023. Previous experience includes managing projects related to the City of Ithaca Green New Deal and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Fellow at Cornell University, where Courtney earned a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Environmental Policy. Additional roles include editorial positions with Cornell Policy Review, a Climate Corps Fellowship at the Environmental Defense Fund, and consulting on microplastics for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Utah and has a background in solar renewable energy.
