Tim Manske

Tim Manske is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and operational planning, currently serving as part of the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) since July 2024. Manske's long-term career with the U.S. Coast Guard, beginning in June 2000, includes roles such as J5 Director for Strategic Planning & Partnerships at U.S. Cyber Command and Deputy Branch Chief at the Network Operations Security Center, where Manske supervised over 80 personnel and managed critical IT response operations. Additional positions held within the Coast Guard encompass project management for electronics and cybersecurity maintenance, facility management, and logistical support. Manske holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy & Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
