Lisa Oberstoetter

Lisa Oberstoetter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in copyright and legal fields. Currently serving as a Senior Copyright Specialist and Literary Division Subject Matter Expert at the U.S. Copyright Office since July 2016, Lisa previously held roles as a Copyright Registration Specialist within the same division. Prior to this, Lisa worked at Halcyon Incubator as a Program Manager and Program Coordinator from March 2015 to July 2016. Lisa's legal expertise was further developed during a tenure at Vinson and Elkins from September 2011 to March 2015, where responsibilities included roles as a Paralegal and Project Assistant in Complex Commercial Litigation, Antitrust, and Mergers & Acquisitions. An early career at Yellow Scene Magazine as an Editorial Assistant/Intern provided valuable editorial experience. Lisa holds a BA in International Affairs and a BA in English from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 2007 and 2011.
