Johan James van Breda

Johan James van Breda is an experienced professional in sustainability and traceability within the textile and apparel industry. Currently serving as Global Traceability Manager for the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol since October 2023, van Breda has held positions including Sustainability Consultant for the same protocol at Cotton Council International and Sustainability Specialist at ISKO™, a leading garment and textile manufacturer. Prior roles include Policy Advisor at the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands, Business Development & Member Manager EMEA at the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, and involvement with GroenLinks and ASICS Europe BV in sustainability initiatives. Johan James van Breda holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by international education experiences.
