Andrea Aguilar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advising and project management within U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor since April 2021, Andrea leads initiatives and manages key portfolios in the Office of Information and Technology. Previously, as a Senior Project Manager for the US Border Patrol, Andrea oversaw national projects focusing on modernizing communication and managing the procurement lifecycle. Andrea's long tenure with CBP includes roles such as Senior Program Manager, where responsibilities involved data evaluation and project planning, and National Targeting Specialist, which included analyzing threats to national security. Andrea’s diverse expertise spans risk management, logistics, and facility security implementation.
