Bruna M. Chernicoff

Bruna M. Chernicoff, CAMS, MBA, currently serves as Compliance Principal in the CHIPS Program Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce since October 2023. Prior to this role, Bruna held positions at Deloitte as an Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime Advisory from March 2020 to October 2023, and at Morgan Stanley as Manager of Global Financial Crimes AML Wealth Management Advisory from August 2017 to March 2020. Bruna's experience also includes working at FIA Tech, Morgan Stanley in Collateral Management, and MLF Lexserv, LP as a Portfolio Servicing Analyst. Earlier roles include consultancy with James Lee Witt Associates and a position with John Hancock Life Insurance Company. Bruna holds an MBA with a focus in Finance from American University and degrees in International Business and Business & Economics from American University and Marymount University, respectively.
