Kyungsoo “Dan” Kim

Kyungsoo “Dan” Kim serves as the Director of the U.S. Commercial Service in Illinois, overseeing all Commercial Service offices within the state since October 2015. In addition to this role, Kyungsoo Kim holds titles as State Director and Global Asia Team Leader at the U.S. Commercial Service from August 2021. Previous experience includes managing global business development at KOTRA, as well as serving as General Manager at Village Commons Plaza, where operational efficiencies were achieved. Additional roles encompass business consultancy for HyunSeoung Inc. Kyungsoo Kim's educational background includes a BA in Pre-law, Law & Society, Psychology, and Professional Writing from Purdue University, alongside a Broker's License from the Chicago Association of Realtors, a Trade Certificate from KATA, and an A-Program Certificate from Yonsei University.
