Ventura Simmons

Ventura Simmons currently serves as Senior Counsel to the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since April 2023. Previously, Ventura held various positions at the same department from May 2000, including Regional Counsel, Deputy Regional Counsel, Associate Regional Counsel for Housing Finance and Programs, and Supervisory Attorney Advisor. Additionally, Ventura has experience as an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School, focusing on Affordable Housing and Community Development. Prior to these roles, Ventura worked as a contract attorney at several law firms and as an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.
