William Cerbone

William Cerbone is an experienced attorney specializing in civil and criminal fraud, currently serving as a Senior Civil and Criminal Fraud Attorney at HUD OIG since October 2010, where expert legal advice is provided for audits and investigations related to mortgage fraud. In addition, William Cerbone operates a part-time general practice law office focused on adoptions and estate planning since June 2014. Prior to the current role, William Cerbone was the Associate Regional Counsel at the US Department of HUD from June 1991 to October 2010, where responsibilities included representing HUD in civil litigation across a five-state region on matters involving federal housing laws. William Cerbone holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
