Paul Rosen

Paul Rosen is the Assistant Secretary for Investment Security at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Prior to their current position, Rosen served on the Agency Review Team for the Biden-Harris Transition Team from October 2020 to January 2021. Paul has also served as a Board Member for Bet Tzedek Legal Services from January 2019 to July 2022, and as a Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs from September 2017 to August 2019. Additionally, Rosen has been a Partner at Crowell & Moring LLP since April 2017 and served as Chief of Staff to DHS Secretary Jeh C. Johnson from January 2014 to December 2017. Prior to their time at the DHS, Rosen was the Chief of Staff at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from January 2013 to December 2014. Paul began their career as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia from January 2010 to December 2011, and later became a Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice's Criminal Division Fraud Section from January 2009 to December 2013.

Paul Rosen attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts. Paul then went on to USC Gould School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law.
