Haksoo Kim

Haksoo Kim is an experienced professional in the grain and agricultural sector, currently serving as the Country Director in Korea for the U.S. Grains Council since July 2015. Previous roles include Grain Business Specialist at the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, where responsibilities included advising on the Korea National Grains Procurement Project and conducting market research, as well as President of aT Grain Company, where Haksoo Kim established a grain-trading venture in the United States and managed various aspects of grain merchandising. Additional leadership roles at the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation involved directing food marketing and agricultural product exports, along with managing trade promotional activities in the U.S. and South America. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Keimyung University and advanced studies in economics from Yonsei University.
