Randy Paul Pearson

Randy Paul Pearson, DAFC, CAMS, COR, serves as the Joint Wargaming Operations Branch Chief at NORAD & US Northern Command since July 2017, where responsibilities include leading joint teams in multi-domain Joint Wargames, and managing exercise programs for Homeland Defense. Pearson has held various roles, including Plans and Exercise Program Manager, Assistant Program Manager for USNORTHCOM’s Counternarcotics Program, and Counter Threat Finance Specialist, contributing significantly to national security policy and military exercises. Academic engagements include guest lecturer positions at the University of Denver and University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. Pearson's prior experience spans roles at the Central Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, highlighting expertise in counterterrorism analysis, policy advising, and military intelligence, complemented by academic qualifications in International Security and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and University of Utah.
