Angela Lu

Angela Lu began their professional career in 2009 as an Operation Assistant/Interpreter for ZheJiang Xiprosi Trading Company. In 2011, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for Valparaiso University. In 2012, they joined EF Education First as an Executive Course Consultant, where they were consistently ranked among the region's top three sales consultants and expanded their business from 300 to 650 accounts within 18 months of employment. In 2015, they were hired as a Field Energy Specialist for SolarCity and earned a promotion to a Consultant role to execute face-to-face sales with prospects, reaching the #1 sales status in Southern California. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a Founding Energy Consultant and later earned promotions to roles of increasing responsibility, spearheading brand awareness efforts and launching and leading the pilot program for sales of PV and storage energy services at Tesla retail locations. In 2021, they transitioned to manage the University Town Centre (San Diego) showroom where they led and coached up to 26 reports while fostering a mission-driven culture, growing the location from #5 in California to #1 in the US in test drive and order volume for Q1 2022 ($80M revenue). In 2022, they joined U.S. Venture, Inc. as a Credit Generation-West Coast.

Angela Lu completed a Certificate in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at Valparaiso University from 2011-2012. Angela then obtained a Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University of Technology. In 2019, Angela Lu obtained four certifications from The Wharton School: Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity in April, Entrepreneurship 2: Launching your Start-Up in May, Entrepreneurship 3: Growth Strategies in June, and Entrepreneurship 4: Financing and Profitability in July.
