Haitao Li

Haitao Li is a Geospatial Systems Analyst at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry since July 2020, with prior experience as a Program Research Assistant at fRI Research focusing on forest management strategies utilizing GIS tools. With a background in data analysis and machine learning as a Junior Engineer at G2V Optics Inc., and expertise as a Geospatial Analyst and System Administrator at Woodlands North Inc., Haitao has developed skills in GIS coordination at the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute and remote sensing at the University of Alberta. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in GIS and Remote Sensing from Nanjing University and another Master of Science in related fields from the University of Alberta, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Cartography and GIS.
