Ken Byrne

Lecturer And Coordinator at UBC Faculty of Forestry

Ken Byrne is an experienced academic and professional in the field of forestry, currently serving as a Lecturer and Coordinator for the Master of Sustainable Forest Management Program at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry since July 2018, while also holding the position of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Forest Resources Management. Prior to this, Ken Byrne spent nearly a decade at FPInnovations as a Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist in Forest Operations. Additional roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université Laval and Instructor at BCIT. Ken Byrne's educational background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Science (MSc), and Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF) from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Dipl. Tech. (Hons) in Renewable Resources from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
