Vaishali Vasudeva

Vaishali Vasudeva is a Doctoral Student at the UBC Faculty of Forestry since September 2023 and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Academic Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where responsibilities include teaching laboratory sessions and supporting the Master of International Forestry program. With experience as a Research Assistant and Newsletter Co-Editor for the Indian Regional Association for Landscape Ecology, Vaishali has also completed projects at the Wildlife Institute of India, focusing on tiger conservation and aquatic ecosystem assessment. Previous roles include internships at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, alongside a research project during undergraduate studies at Hansraj College. Vaishali holds a Master of Science in International Forestry from The University of British Columbia, a Post Graduate Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS, and a Master of Science in Environment Management, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Delhi University.
